have i ever ever mentioned how incredibly useful A level work is? no? okay let me mention it now. A LEVEL WORK IS INCREDIBLY USELESS.
why the hell do we need to know how much energy is needed to remove one mol of electrons from one mol of atoms? oh yes, because you see, in your daily life, you are constantly removing electrons from atoms, hence it is very important that you know the trends of first ionization energies across the periodic table.
oh atomic orbitals are very important too! just in case one day you take it into your head to try to find an electron, you will know where to search such that you have a 90 percent chance of finding an electron.
and mathematical induction is a waste of time. obviously invented by some sod who has no faith in anything and goes around trying to prove that everything is false. and you waste one whole page of paper trying to prove something, and OH! IT'S TRUE! HALLELUJAH!! when the obvious statement is right at the top of the page.
give me a break.
